Introduction

In a noisy world full of confusion, speculation, and conflicting opinions about the Bible, this ministry exists to unmask common misconceptions about the Bible and shine the light of Scripture on important topics.  I will dig into the original Hebrew and Greek text, provide historical and cultural context, and help you understand what the original audience would have understood.

This page is meant to supplement – never replace – the local church and the teaching authority God has placed in your life.  If your pastor or spiritual leaders teach something different than what you read here, go with them; they are right, and I’m wrong.

My Ministry Journey

I have been an ordained minister for 17 years now in South and Central Arkansas.  I also served as a chaplain assistant in the Army National Guard, an experience that deepened my commitment to pastoral care and ministry during challenging circumstances.  I’ve preached in multiple churches across the region and with the military, served as a Youth Pastor and acting Pastor, officiated numerous weddings, and spoken at various events.  

As a history major with a strong interest in Biblical history, I bring both pastoral experience and historical insight to the study of Scripture.  These experiences have shown me how easily misunderstandings about the Bible create confusion, and how clarity brings freedom and stronger faith.

The Mission of The Bible Unmasked

The Bible Unmasked is a place for honest, thoughtful, and biblically grounded commentary.  Here you will find:

  • Clear explanations of common Bible misconceptions
  • Historical and cultural context of Biblical places and events
  • Practical insights from Scripture for everyday life
  • Answers to difficult or frequently misunderstood topics

My goal is simple: to help you explore the Bible with fresh eyes as we seek to understand God’s Word more faithfully.  Together, we’ll strive to set aside unnecessary tradition, cultural distortion, denominational bias, and modern misinformation so we can better hear what Scripture actually says.
